Ok here it goes my AC quit working a week ago. I have checked the fuse the diode and all is good. Its not low on freeon either i got that checked and the compresor works when I apliy 12v to it so that is my problem. I am not getting 12v to the compressor when I turn it on. Does anyone have an idea or a wire diagram for the ac???

If that doesn't do it, you can feel free to stop by my place sometime this weekend & I can look into it a little deeper... I'm in So Arlington.

I have it, but I don't have time to pull it up right now. Most likely, either the freon charge is too low for the low side switch to engage the compressor, or more likely, the low side switch is bad. The switch is the most likely suspect, and costs about $13.00. If I remember correctly, the GenII's also have a high side safety switch. It too can fail, but it is not very likely.

I saw the attached but where are they phisicaly located on the truck
Pictures in attached. Allmost all are under the hood. You have to follow the ac refrigerant lines from to the compressor to locate the component

Thanks for posting... If you want to check the conmponents, an easy way is to unplug the switch, and put a jumper wire in the plug to complete the circuit. If the A/C starts working, then you found the problem. Remember that you have the cycling switch on the Accumulator/Dryer, and a cut-off switch on your high side line.
I'm stuck @ work right now, (hate call ins) but I'll give you a call when I get out of this place. If you havn't found the problem yet, depending on what time it is, I can either meet you @ your place or have you come on over to mine. (If you havn't already found the problem.)

Figured it out guys it was a bad add a circuit I had bought last week. There was an open in it where the original fuse went removed it put fuse back in socket and it worked. Man was i pissed when I found that was the problem.
