Stop the Billy Mays commercials, I watch ESPN and Speed and they are on all the time.

It just seems wrong to me to continue to exploit his popularity when he has been gone for a while now. Your thoughts?

I wonder what % of the population realizes he is gone ...

Especially the targeted demographic ...

He got paid for his image and work. They can do with it as they please. IMO.

Well I know the NASCAR fans know he is gone, many of the NASCAR announcers have referenced him lately and as missing him, and I think that is the targeted demographic:evil

My thoughts are "dont care".. I watch movies with dead actors, I watch TV shows with dead actors.. so he is a dead pitch guy.. same thing to me.. Oh, I have watched a rerun of a race or two with dead drivers too.. I see dead people..

It just seems more live to me on the commercials, can you imagine having a Dale Sr or Senna commercial now pitching the next race as the best race that they will run and we know that they then died in that race, I don't think NASCAR or F1 will be airing those commercials anytime soon.

Just creepy to me.

Dont get me wrong, I understand what you are saying but being a creature of this generation where my sensitivities have been bludgeoned.. hey, I just dont care, and I feel better for it.. :evil
