Do you get sucked in to watching hours of music videos of songs/bands that you really like when you get on to YouTube?

it started here and went all over the 80's and 90's.. but I just really enjoyed the experience.

Na.. I usually only watch the comical stuff on utube. And there is very little 80's music that I enjoy. Def Leppard - Hysteria, ACDC - Back in Black, and a couple of others. But over all, I thought the 80's sucked.

DanaOn the other hand, a few know all about 45's, as well as 78's and 33-1/3, tube type radios, slide-rules, ice boxes that use ice instead of making it, cars with 4-60 AC, and all those other antiques.

God I hated that! He would watch 2 stations at once. (old school picture in picture) I wore that knob out.

Remember the first remotes had 4 BIG huge buttons and no batteries - you pushed the up channel button so hard it would store up energy and click and then about 5 seconds later the TV would change the channel

in my google search for image I found this

never saw one of them - looks like a flashlight you pointed at the corners of the TV to do different things

I dont recall that one, but the first remote (besides me) was the corded one and there was a motor attached to the channel selector.. when it moved it made a sound something between a click and a clunk.. it was wonderful, since by then I had my own tv and didnt have to watch what my father wanted to watch.. :D

From there it gets blurry  as to all the different wireless remotes and how they worked. I remember some moving the channel selector, some of them had about a dozen spots on the front of the tv and you had to program a station into one of them. etc etc.
