I haven't used this as much as I thought I would. I just prefer my 5.56 carbine. So, it's now for sale.

Colt model 6450 9mm carbine. 16" barrel, A2 hider, all factory colt except Magpul MIAD full grip kit, rear sight aperture adjuster and JP Enterprises trigger springs. (all original parts included as well as original box)
Daniel Defense single point sling adapter also installed. I am the 2nd owner and as I recall, the 1st had put a few hundred rounds though it. I have put less than 300 rds down the pipe so I'm guessing actual count is less than 1k.
Looks great, runs great, she's ready to go.
Comes with 2 32rd and 1 20rd magazine with rubber magpuls installed.

SOLD!!!!!

Does it have a lot less recoil than a 223? Any more velocity and pop than a 9 pistol? Thanks.

It shoots very soft. I don't really notice any recoil but I don't notice it in a 223 either.
Depending on the ammo, the velocity is a lot higher than it would be from a pistol. The only load I ever compared over my chronograph was the Speer 124gr Gold Dot hp. It went a little over 200fps faster from this carbine than it did from my 5" 1911 iirc.

Gary, Can this rifle be converted to 5.56 by just changing out the upper receiver?

John, I don't think so. There's a block inside the magwell that would have to be removed to fit 223/556 mags, the hammer would have to be changed and probably the buffer too. This is a factory built 9mm, not a conversion.
