Vacuum Hose Info

The hose that runs from passenger side valve cover to back top side of supercharger then back to the back of the block...does this hose have a clamp on the fitting on the backside of the block? I can feel it, just can't see it. Dealer wanted $600 to replace this hose, they said the supercharger has to come off. I took the hose and left!
Any info would help. Thanks in advance!

No it is just a barb fitting and pushes on. I replace them with 3/8" fuel line and hose clamp or black zip tie. You can reach it on a cold engine. I have done them hot as well. Pushing it on is good enough for 99% of trucks. The barb fitting is actually on the bottom of the lower intake it sucks out the oil that collects in the bottom of the intake. I cap them off in the trucks with oil separators and EGR deletes.

so no tune is needed to cap it off? i want to cap off mine just to get it out of the way. i have a oil sep on my truck.
