I question the engineering of it a little, but I do not have a degree in vehicle dynamics or chassis design...but from a metallurgical, fatigue, moment arm, and stress concentration points I think I can predict the failure points.

The corners of the c notch, there is a reason it is called a C notch not a half Hexagon notch.

A lot of nice work, and just my opinion, which is not worth anything. Just an observation, Good luck.

The frame is completely boxed, and the metal for the c-notch is actually thicker than the original frame metal (before being reinforced and boxed). It shouldn't fail, but with anything custom, there is always that possibility.

I picked up the frame but it's far from being done. With re-doing my house, fixing all of the problems with the Z06, and other projects I decided to get it instead of leaving it in storage down in Houston while my buddy works on a few of his projects.

These are just mock up pics to show the progress of the rear end.
