sliding window problem

I am having a slight issue with the weatherstrip on my sliding window. Whenever I close it the weatherstrip tends to go with the window. I can shove it back in there and it fits nice and tight but if I open and close it the strip comes out again. Anyone know a solution to this without buying a new weatherstrip? There doesn't seem to be a problem with it, everything looks good it just decides not to stay put.

If the weatherstrip is not torn you can CAREFULLY remove it, clean the strip & window fram, & re-install. The strip is heal in with urethane. I bought new strips & the tube of urethane but it dried our before I could use it... I am sure you can buy a tube at an auto glass supplier or autobody store if it can not be found at NAPA or the like. I use weatherstrip adhesive.
