Ball Joints

Wel the L has hit 108k and has been re-aligned twice in 2 months and still wears the inside of the tires.(Cambolt Kit Installed) My LH lower has maybe .005-.007 play. The other 3 are fine. NTB quoted 980 out the door :icon_rolleyes: for all 4 and re-aligned. Any suggestions on the wear vs ball joint?

Sounds about right either ball joints or maybe idler arm, have a good shop look at it, i have a buddy that does all my work here in Arlington at Pro care Automotive..

I have 128k on my 99 still on the originals. I say look for good quality shop that will get you the correct L alignment- the specs are slightly different on the L than standard F150 if I remember correctly.

I like Champion Spring on Henderson in Fort Worth- Van does a very nice job- he'll get it right

Well I had it aligned again and all 4 balanced with a lil help. That minor play in the ball joint and possible the idler arm is worn causing the seldom minor vibration..
