Thats what I was thinking the whole time, from what I saw it looked like he either rolled it or smacked a pole and they didnt have one bit of concern for the idiot:rolleyes:

I'd lay money that it wasn't a rental, but rather stolen.

Yup, rented, wink, wink, I'm sure the prosecutors use this in court, another brilliant move, documenting it.
But I did the same thing in a 72 bug more than a few times on the way to school.
My son did the same thing in the K5 and he and his buddies had to push it home about mile as it knocked the in tank fuel pump out of it. He got to learn how to drop a tank and replace it.
But jumping tracks is a lot of fun.

I had a K5 in school and to replace the pump I pulled the carpet and cut a square hole in the floor and made a nice little door above the fuel tank:D

But jumping tracks is a lot of fun. I did the same thing in my very first car. It was a 1977 Fleetwood Cadillac with 500k on the ticker, and a 500cid Caddy motor lol. I paid $500 for it with money I saved doing the neigborhood lawns when I was 16. I had so much fun in that car! Especially in that huge back seat :evil
