My truck is shaking between 60 and70 mph. I have taken it to a couple of places and we can't figure out what is wrong. I think the axel is bent or I may have flat spots in my new tires. I want to see if anyone will let me put two of your wheels on the back of my truck and you put my back wheels on yours to see if my truck still shakes or if yours starts to shake. I live on the border of ft. Worth and Arlington if anyone can help.

Thanks.

You can rotate a spare tire around to see if it is one wheel. Or run it on jack stands. Or have a tire store road force balance them to see if there is a defect in a wheel or tire. Is it in the steering wheel or the seat/chassis? Front wheel bearings easily loosen over time.

I have put it up on jack stands. Something is off. I just can't figure it out. The wheels are new and so are the tires. I spoke to m&h and they said the core of the tire is Kevlar and would not hold a flat spot. I am just hoping to eliminate the wheels and tires as the cause of the shake.

Important information.... M&H. I have the same issue at about 45mph. Took my truck into Discount Tire and they put the rears on a balance machine. The tires are out-of-round (390/17s). Same thing on my Gen I. These tires should be stamped; NOT FOR STREET USE because they are crap. Look nice, but the tread is pulling away from the carcass on both sets I have and there is nothing you can do to get a smooth ride out of them. :o

Thanks to Jeff (ZFORCE77), I narrowed it down to the new wheels or the new tires. Now all I have to figure out is which one it is. They both look off a bit.

Thanks again Jeff. You don't know how much I appreciate it.

What brand is M&H? Did you check the date code on the inside sidewall to see if the tires are just old?

I had Hankooks on my Harley F150, bought the fronts and rears 6 months apart. My fronts started wobbling, shaking and eventually separated, then the back ones did the same thing about a year later. Tread was still decent, but the casing was letting go.

Replaced all 4 with Yokohamas and the ride is good and the wet weather performance is unbelievable.
