Drive it but take it easy :tu: Change that oil after the first 250 miles or so. Good advice. Hell, I changed my oil like 3 times before 1500 miles. I had a break in tune I ran to make sure I was safe :tu:

Been doing that for the past couple of days i just hit 300 miles so the first oil change will go today or tomorrow.

This is how I am breaking mine in...

1. Fire it up for the first time and let it idle for 20 mins then change the oil.
2. Take it out for a spin, go through all the gears, put load on the engine to help seat the rings then change the oil again.
3. After 300 miles change the oil again.
4. After 1,500 miles change the oil again and you're ready for a race tune.

Does it really require that many oil changes?

Does it really require that many oil changes?

If you have OCD like me when it comes to your truck then yes :icon_mrgreen:

You really want to get all the assembly lube & dirt out of the motor.

First 20 mins oil change is very crucial, you won't image how dirty the oil is when it comes out.
