I was think if we had to do it at a 1/8 mile track we could run a street tire (oem type) class and a run what you brung class, both heads up like we did a few years back. On the other hand if we do it at a 1/4 mile track we could run a bracket class and a heads up class.

Something else to think about is Northstar has a Friday night street shootout/ fun & grudge. We could talk to them about running our truck shootout along with the fun and grudge. You guys crime in and tell me what you think. So when I talk to the track managers I can telll them what we are looking for.

ya i went to one of these 2 weeks ago and there where alot of trailer car stuff and quite a bit of run what u bring cars... the lanes were open all night long didnt ever have to wait to run. i ran a good ten passes for the time i was there. northstar would definatly be a good pick for this event

The last time we went to NS as a group we did the street tire shootout, which was crazy fun. It was all about who got off the line first and who could keep their foot in it the longest. Then we did some big tire heads up action. But if you guys would like to do a few bracket runs along with something else just speak up. What ever we do I'm sure we'll have a great time. Let me know what you guys think so I can tell them tomorrow what we want. Also remember we can move the date early or later. Whatever works best for everyone. But it will have to be on a Friday if we want to do it at NS.

As for the stock vs stock (stock block)class sounds like alot of rules will need to be in place for a class like that. But if it works for evryone lets do it. For me I like the heads up street tire action. This would be for oem style and size tire only. Factory rubber on a 1/8 mile track levels out the playing field. One mistake and you LOSE.:icon_wink:

I think so too. Blower & 1 stage vs Blower & 1 stage should be one hell of a run. I can't wait. I'm also looking forward to see how well we all match up on street tires. The nos shouldn't even be a factor, it will be hard enough to hook on the blower. We'll see.

It looks like we might have a fair amount of trucks and members coming just to watch. Should be a great turn out.knana

We need to discuss the classes ie. are we going to do 1st round buy backs ($5) to be paid to the winners? How many trucks will be in each class. ect or we can have a meeting at the track and talk about it then? The track doesn't need much info from us until the day of the event.

No monster here ill still be running my eaton but wee mite find out how good this blower will do around 18-20 Lb. Nope no seat time with this new set up i am about to hit 1K on the brakein tune ill push it over 1,500 get 1more oil change and start getting my tune right then if theres time ill take it to the track and see were all my money when to :rll::rll::rll:
