in a short series, as this is, with the chance lee could pitch twice (if he pitches the way he can), and with some run support...it could happen.

you just pointed out that lee, wilson, and hunter are ifs...big ifs. lee has been unspectacular as a ranger, wilson has been solid, and hunter has been up and down this year. the offense hasn't done well of late against good pitching and that's all they're going to see in the playoffs. very little playoff experience on this team. they might get past the rays, but that'll be it. it's been a great season!

5 runs is more than double the total runs Rangers have had in all playoff games combined (2 runs total). Lee pitched like Lee for a change. Good thing that Hamilton is back as he was one of the keys to the win, especially on defense. Mission accomplished in the first game.

I agree on O'day deal not on Cruz. I went Sunday and Kinsler clearly called the back peddle E4 he made although Cruz has better position on it.

At least Cruz accounted for some solo HR's to make it interesting- they should have him batting in clean up IMO.

He does need to take those shades off out there in RF- It is shaded and he's trying to pick up the ball from sunlight to shadows- shades are helping.

Odds are 50/50. Lee will command 20 Mill + a year & that's Nolan's job to get it done. :bows Now, if the Rangers get to the world series win or loose I think Lee has a better chance of getting back there with this team unless he just wants the money & goes to like the Jankees. :nono: The Rangers will have to increase payroll substantially & get another front line pitcher. We also probably should look at a superstar catcher also unless Molina cuts a few pounds and keeps up his play or keep him and another. Vlad ? don't know on that one unless he has 1 more good year left in him and he will come reasonably cheap. All & all this season has been fun to watch and hope they get in the World Series. My pick is Rangers & Phillies with Lee putting it in Holliday's ass the first game. Rangers in 6 for the title.

I doubt that, but how many times do the new yank yorkies get sweeped at home in a three game series.. I am guessing not too often.. but now they only have to win one of two and they still have Lee in their back pocket.. I am guessing the way they are playing, if they keep it up, they win number 6 and go to the world serious.

They out hit them yesterday and got to Sabathia but could not move a runner to save their life.

Young needs to learn to get in 'front' of the ball and knock it down with his body if he has to. That throw to the plate by CJ looked like a little girl- he had Posada by 20 feet.

Rangers in 6- I'm willing it:cool:
