I have the offer of swapping the Bmw and a little cash for a Mint 1996 Vette with car fax certified 33k original miles.. Car has power driver and passanger seats Red Leather interior Hard Top and Smoked top. Mint.. What Do you all think.. Its Auto..

Dang but the ride is super clean.. Its mint man.. Showroom mint.. I would take a super clean lightning. I figured get the vette worth about 19k and flip it.. Talked him into a straight trade..

The C4's were horrible to drive and were slower than the camaros back then. The autos were mushy and lame. I'd price it at 12k. You can get a nice C5 for 19k. Jus get in and out a dozen times and you will see what I mean. You step into a torpedo tube. The only C4's of any value were Grand Sport, Zr1 and 96 silver collectors editions LT4.

The LT1 was also a nightmare to wrench on. Reverse coolant flow design, opti spark ign resides on the bottom of the front engine where it gets wet. The C% and LSx platform is a hundred times more fun and easier to service.

I dont know what these cars are worth - didnt check but I know that you can get a c6 in the 20's now if you shop ...

I never understood the concept of trading unless the deal nets you at least what your car is worth AND you really want THAT car
