Hi Guys

I know its not Auto related but Im pissed and wanted to get my experience with Frys and an Office chair into Google

A 3 month old or so $200 chair and its shock thing under the seat has failed

Boss Executive High-Back Chair - Black Italian Leather
Boss Office Products (Chairs):
FRYS #: 3231811
The ultimate in luxury seating... style, comfort and elegance all come together in this Italian leather executive chair. Contoured high-back with generous lumbar support, leather upholstered armrests and waterfall-shaped seat make this chair the best in its class.

the warranty on the chair says its 5 years and return it to the dealer
Frys says nope - 30 days after that you go to the manufacturer.

2 problems

1 Frys isnt honoring the warranties included in the equipment it sells.
2 Norstar is selling chairs to dealers that don't honor their warranty.

The customer loses in both cases and both Frys and Norstar lose ....

In my opinion Frys shouldn't sell things that come with warranties they wont honor. Its part of the dealer relationship

Looking to upgrade - see other thread

In all retail stores i ever worked at, it has always been a 30 day return policy.. After the 30 days, unless you buy an extended warranty u go to the manufacture.. Sucks but that's the retail policy..

Costco has the best return policy ever. Don't they sell chairs?

Have you tried contacting the chair maker and gotten nowhere?
