Well, went out there this morning. Got there around 9:30a.. no slots inside..

There was a reason why.. it was overflowing with cars and people. The turnout was at least 2 to 3 times the largest turnout I had ever seen. And there were some really nice new and old cars there this time.. it was really worth the time and the trip..

I was there from about 8am to 9:45 or so. The other reason there were no spots was due to what they let park in there. I saw a 2002ish green New Beetle with fading paint parked in there, for instance. Also this rare 2007 model folding chair:

Didnt get to take too many pictures because we brought the two year old, and keeping her from pushing her stroller into someone's Lambo is a full time job. Rest of my pics here:

Uh, why cant I use an IMG tag to inline an image?

Can I put my Flickr photos on my web site?

Yes! You can create a dynamic badge of your publicly viewable Flickr photos (http://www.flickr.com/badge_new.gne) to add to your web site (outside of Flickr).
Use the wizard to set up your badge and show: your photos, group photos, or photos from everyone. You can also filter images by a certain tag.
Simply choose the display options (which photos, how many, what size) and specify if you want to display your screen name and buddy icon. Then choose either a styled version of the badge (photos appear in a column with a colored background) or one that you can design yourself.
Note: If you choose to customize the badge yourself, you need to know we hold all the photos in an enclosing DIV with the class 'flickrimg.' The images within it are also assigned IDs: flickrimg1, flickrimg2, etc.

I was there - It was crazy crowded - Great weather though...

:rll: I have 6 or 8 of these in the garage. Except mine are the hi-po models. They have a foot rest and storage bin. One even has it's own umbrella and would require two parking spots., These bare-bones models should not be allowed at cars and coffee. :nono:

That spot never got used, because the lot filled up and they started waving cars off.

I will say in defense of the Beetle - at least they got up early enough to get it. If you can't roll in til 9 or later, don't expect there to be a spot for you.

I made an appearance in the Turbo Porch. :burnout:

I think folks need to use their own judgment when parking in amongst the nice rides. I saw a lot of cars that should have been parked elsewhere.

Tons of people and some really nice rides as well. With a little planning we could do lunch after next month's C&C

Trouble is that lots of people think their ride is nice ...
Where do you draw the line ?
If mine is washed recently I think its nice ... :nana2

I agree hard to call that one and the spirit of C&C seems to be very social and in that spirit all are invited.

Common sense would tell me to leave the dirty stock foam green VW beetles parked elsewhere but what do I know:cool:
