Glad he is out of the picture. Even if he is no longer the principle of Al Queda - its still a big deal
Just now watching the Presidents speech regarding Bin Laden. In the first few minutes, it almost sounds like the President single handedly took him out...
The number of times he used the word I is incredible.
Quoting a good friend "A big thanks to our military for their courage, patience, and sacrifice. Thank you President Bush!"

Glad to hear he is dead BUT why is everyone thanking Bush? Did he not get us into most of this crap? Did vote for him round one so i'm not a Bush basher. I just want to thank the military for getting the job done without any problems.

I would have preferred he shared the credit with the coalition etc. Instead he said the US is responsible nobody else...
Apparently they tossed it in the ocean according to Muslim practices. All of the DOD sites are force protection Bravo now. Which makes it more fun to work on the bases.

Its ironic that according to Google maps the compound was 3 or 4 blocks from the police station ...

I noticed the same thing.
Won't change the war, but this was a big symbolic victory. And I'll thank Bush because the military wouldn't be in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Pakistan if he hadn't sent them.
