Wasn't there a Lightning weekend thing in Kansas in May I think? An NLOC gathering perhaps? Anyone have any details? Now is the time to start planning...

Durr. It is the weekend of September 27-28. Perfect. Who all is going? Are we going to gather the combined might of HALO and TALON to show some force there?

I'm considering it. It sounds like a Lightning convoy is in the works, from what I've read.

Don't forget about the ALOC boys.
We can meet up with the LOOK boys in Oklahoma City or Tulsa and make the rest of the way. How would that look seeing 50-80 Lightnings heading up to Kansas?:tu:

But that isn't til the weekend after FFW Ennis. We got plenty of time to plan.

We need to get ready for Houston in May and also NMRA Ford in Ennis May 30-31, June 1st.

We may want to start getting serious about this. I don't know where the track where the event is being held, so I wouldn't really know the first thing about what hotel to stay at, but I figure it would be wise for us to try to stay at the same hotel. I'll volunteer to explore the hotels out there and see if we can't get t a good group rate.

How many of you guys are planning on going, so I can start talking to hotels with numbers in our party? Who's bringing the alcohol and cheap women?:d

I'll keep you guys posted.

We're not going to get much of a group rate with that many. If you're going post up here so we can get a good count for a hotel. Otherwise we'll all just cram into Justin's trailer (you've got a trailer, don't you?).

I figure you guys don't want to stay in the same hotel with me because I snore too damn much :d !

I know of several guys who are talking about going, Jeff(Alpine),Rob(02 BOLT), Laurence(Red2002), Terry(L8APEX), Mike(TRUBLU 02),and Rob's dad('93 L w/ 30k miles). We've been talking about it since Super Bowl weekend. Let us know what you find out about hotels and such. A caravan of L's would kick ass!:banana:
