93 L transmission rebuild

Well at 140K on the OD, the tranny is starting to slip. Anyone got a good shop for a rebuild?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, I will call them.

I called SpeedTek on 121, and asked for a referral to someone they would use, and they told me a Rick's transmission in Arlington.

I called and he said he could build it bulletproof for $1600. I expected that much. Does anyone see a problem with that quote. I do not know the full extent of what will be replaced because it was a over the phone estimate.

Let me know, need to get it done before it leaves me stranded.

Oh, and the guy said he will come and get it on a flat bed for no charge.
