View Full Version : TMS Friday Night Drags Aug 12?

Fellers...the family and I, and some friends are heading out Friday to check it out. Not racing because I've never seen how they run this and don't know if it's a bunch of punks or what. Just want to check it. Plus the Lightning will get pretty sh!tty times thanks to the heat and I don't trust the Cobra enough to put it on the strip yet.

Anyone down? It'd be cool to see some of the old or new faces. Not sure which ride I'll be taking...may just buckle down and take one of the family haulers so as to be inconspicuous heading through Roanoke!

Memo, don't think I've ever met you, but I'll be on the lookout.

So, I assume spectator parking is on the outside and staging and the car show are on the infield, correct? Since I'm not going to show anything and am not racing (you know the Lightning won't like the hot air), I don't haev a set time we'll be getting there, but we will check out the races. Hope something other than rice burners show!

Soaked everything with antifreeze...what a mess. Too late by the time I made the repaired and washed everything down. :(

Dennis, I went lookin for ya! Found out when I redid my phone that I have your old number...some lady asked me who Dennis is when I asked for you...

Saw a couple of trucks out there but couldn't find owners when I went through the staging lanes. Watched a little while and left. Not a bad event, but the Scions all over the place made me want to :vomit:
