Some of you know I have had an E60 M5 for a while. Its gone. Too many expen$ive repairs/down time, and it was about to need a boatload of maintenance items (more $$$) so I decided to get out while the getting was good.

Picked up a 2013 Taurus SHO. I really like this car, and while its no M5 its badass in its own right. Still a very quick car, and loaded to the gills with gadgets.

Couple of crappy pics:

Nice! I presume it's the same twin turbo EcoBoost AWD drivetrain as in the Police Interceptor sedan?

Andy, any time.

Brian - yep. I haven't heard what, if anything, is improved for the Police Interceptor. I am not sure how an AWD setup will play with PDs, but the car seems pretty roomy (although what can be roomier than the old Crown Vic) and it has a LOT of get up and go. Frankly I am surprised they didn't up the power for 2013 but I have a feeling that will be a 2014 thing. The number of incremental improvements in the car beyond the freshening of the styling is impressive.

I drove the Iterceptor and was pretty impressed with it. Very smooth power delivery.
