Holy guacamole! I hate it when this happens... Thank God the L is nice and warm in the garage where it's been for 2 weeks now.
I almost got it out yesterday too.http://webpages.charter.net/silverspurs21/SS/smiles/grinking.gif

Y'all be safe out there, and remember, only about 10% of Texans have any clue how to drive in this.

Where is 544?

North Lewisville. All of 35 north above Carrolton was screwed up. Then I took 121 across town to get home. The bridge were iced in Lewisville. Then into Coppell and Grapevine it came down hard enough to white the highway. That was a 4mph crawl until it dried up south of the airport. A one ton van is not the easiest of things to drive on ice, but it keeps me sharp:tu:

544 is north of 190 on 35

Just got home - THe sleet started falling about a MILE south of my house. JUST north of where I turned off the bridge over the little creek on Old Denton is iced over. 3 car accident in the 30 feet of slippery bridge... What idiots. take you feet off BOTH pedals and dont turn the wheel unless you have to - coast over the bridge and your cool...

35 was a parking lot starting about beltline in Farmersbranch

I hope everyone makes it home safe. Took me almost 3 hours to get from Richardson to McKinney, and roughly half of that time was driving in McKinney. All overpasses were ice, and when approaching an overpass with an 18-wheeler sliding around beside you is not a good thing! I jumped off of 75 and access roaded all the rest of the way. Don't think I'll be going in to work tomorrow.

Just talked to Andre across the street (Cowboys Center) and he was not too happy sliding around in the Escalade......it is mostly frozen sleet here....mini pebbles if you will :D

We had a mini ice storm here in North Richland Hills about an hour ago. My street and sidewalk is frozen over. It's still misting so it's gonna get a lot worse. Thankfully, I have Dijorno's in the freezer. http://webpages.charter.net/silverspurs21/SS/smiles/smokin.gif

I left Lewisville at 1pm just as it was coming down. I arrived home with no issues and Arlington is clear for now.

These are the days I'm glad I have a daily driver besides the L:tu:

What part of Arlington do you live in. Here in North Arlington we have thunderstorms and still sleeting...the roads are completely covered.

That's what it looks like up here in McK. Maybe tomorrow I'll see how far down the street I can slide on the ice with a good running start. I wonder if my old football cleats will help with traction?

that you need to move your vehicles out from under covers like this because they are falling due to the weight of the ice.. Over 500 so far have been reported!!!

Save that Lightning and go move it now!!
