The old school stuff had a low @ the receiver dryer(i looked with a flashlight +mirror in that area and saw nothing).I found the one in plain view but looks to be the high side where is the low side service port??Also searched and tore my truck apart looking for a cabin a/c filter. After reading all the B.S. on the web and searching i assume there isnt one on the 2004L..

You have to have the 134a port adapters. Those little hose/gauge things from autozone work. Just make sure you use 134a and not the synthetic stuff or the a/c ice crap.

It should be on the side of the accumulator

I found it,its on the side of the receiver dryer. Its on the passenger side under the starter relay area on the receiver dryer .If your looking aft its under 3 wire harnesses(WTF) looking out 45 degress to the righ(cap looks right @ the pcv valve)t.She swallowed a full can of 134 and its workin good now. Thanks Braker85

You should check the pressure again after the system as run for 15-20min and make sure it isn't over charged.

Compressor started cycling again after truck sits and you start it up after turning on a/c.I added one more can, still below what the gauge said @ outside air.Anyone know what the static pressure should be with engine off?It seems to be workin well now.My static pressure matches outside air.Ill leave it alone, rather be on the low side,Truck is 8+ years old with 94000 quater miles LOL... http://www.svtgalleries.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/24223 :icon_biggrin:
