EGR Delete Kit

I want to do a EGR delete(LFP).Question is does this have to be deleted in the tune also??Terry has tuned my truck hot,warm, cold, X-caliber box.I was gona install kit,and cap off vacum line @ contrl module and let it fly.Any help appreciated.

Not so much deleted, but if doing an EGR delete it needs to be turned off in your tune or you'll have a constant check engine light.

Might be deleted already(I talk to Terry).I want to get rid of it,nothing but a nusance and i cant stand the smell in the cab when it opens after a run.

I disabled most of the EGRs in the tunes I wrote. I don't have a current software to check it out though. If you don't get a check engine light it should be fine. There should be no EGR smell, it is just recircullating some exhaust back through the engine for a clean and lean burn... They only open on highway cruise at temp.

When i pull off the exhaust tube what should i do with the 2 small lines that go to control module,Thanks for the help.

I use to remove the extra stuff and use the press on vacuum caps to cap the remaining lines.
