Kind of interesting.. some folks think it will hang with a L .. somehow I am not thinking it will ... however, it'll be interesting to see if Ford actually makes it.

Looks like fun. People definitely want cab space these days. 2 door anything is a hard sell. I was expecting something around 2015 when full size truck were supposed to lose 700 lbs...

true true.. it may be a limited production run since it will most likely appeal to those that just want a sports truck.. hmmmm, wonder what kind of folks would want something like that?

No way the new truck hangs (stock vs stock) with a Gen 2 Lightning. If for no other reason than it has to weigh significantly more. Handling? Even with the improved suspension of the newer trucks, this thing looks like it was designed to clear a 2' curb. I know the turbo'd Ecoboost motor has a lot of potential (just like the SC'd 5.4 did), so I'm sure it could be made to run well. Glad Ford is willing to do this... a step in the right direction. Next step is a detuned version of the GT500 motor. Single cab, lowered, wider wheels/tires, SVT interior, 550hp... sell it for $50-55k, and people would buy it.
