FFW Orlando

I'm pulling the plug on this one. As much as I would like to go to the opener in Orlando, it's not worth risking a 2,300 mile round trip just to see the event rained out. Next FFW will be April 11-13 at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA.

I was ****ed till I looked at the weather storms from tonight thru tuesday is NOT promising

Oh well...

Plus side is I can blame you for not going and I can fix my Savage and play with it

I just checked and it looks pretty bad. I believe after my 3 hour drive last week end to Hallsville for nothing, I will pass on the 18 hour drive to Orlando for nothing.:crying:


Cripes.........this is a bummer. Truck is loaded, guy with trailer is lined up, days off from work arranged.......arrrgggghhhhh.

Now I'll spend the whole weekend looking at the weather in Orlando to see if I should have gone.:vomit:

Actually, they completed the first round so they will complete the Orlando event in Atlanta in April. Points will be awarded just as if the event was held this weekend. Good thing is, it was a small turnout so not very many points are available. :cool:

They will just rush everything. Same thing happened last year. The Orlando event was completed at Atlanta after the Pro 5.0 crash stopped the race and Killed Steve Grebeck.
