If there was no such thing as bad luck, then I wouldn't have any luck at all.:throw:
Anyways, just letting everyone know that if you want a built motor please just ship the whole truck to that person and let them deal with the problems. The extra money doing that is well worth it. I have let too many people handle my truck and if I could do it all over again I would have just sent my truck to JDM and be done with it. But that is part of the learning prcoess I guess.
Jim had called me and said that the person who did my headwork (DTA Performance) had put spacers under the rocker arms I believe and well, everything is just screwed up. There are more things I believe, but I don't remember what he said exactly.
Well anyways, I am getting new Ovate springs and new Custom Crower billet cams. I might as well do it right.
I believe I will just let my truck set in the garage when I get it back. That way I won't have to worry about anything happening to it.:(

Well, I guess Stan should get back home anytime next week, so the answer is next weekend. I also sprung out for a Fluidyne heat exchanger too. I will worry about how to pay for it later.
Things that I must forget about buying this year:
15" wheels and slicks
Nitrous
Cage
:flaming: :hammer: :nono: :crying:
My frickin house that is almost closed has already broke me and I haven't even moved in yet. Will spend most of my time on the back side of my 25 acres sobbing.

Aight, will give a shot out to ya. I will really be out in the woods then. The community I am moving to is called "Possum Hollar".
I have a neighbor just East of me and one just South of me and both of their names are LeRoy.....And the funny thing is that they are both White....no $h!t. And I have another neighbor about 2 miles down the road I call LeRoy. He is my buddy that hung out with me when we came to the Feb. meeting at Boneaddy's. If that ain't country I don't know what is.

Bob Newhart! (not sure about the spelling) JD hang in there! I still have my motor apart but I have real good people working on it! There are so many ways to screw up a mod motor! I think you will be very happy with the Crower cams!

Its common to put shims on top of valve stem if using a reground cam, this compensates for the reduced base circle. Would not see how this would cause the springs to fail? If shims were put under the valve springs, definite connection to failure. There were a lot of spings experiencing failure. May have been a coil bind or fatue issue, not sure. The ovate springs with the oval spring cross-secction (expensive) are reported to reduce spring failures.
