flashing overdrive light?

Does anyone know what it means when your OD "off" light is flashing. I noticed it today. It would flash for a while then quit. Really random. Anyone know what that means?

Oooh. I think that is a bad thing, like your svc engine light blinking, the trans is throwing a code. Like a loss of line pressure or something. Do a search on f150online.com - its been a LONG time since I read what the cause is.

does it shift funny now? just curious if it jacked up the line pressure. you might want to ask factory tech himself, greg is a vaery helpful guy.

terry, I am going to be driving from richardson to fort worth today. Can I swing by sometime between 10:00 and 1:00? (directions please) Otherwise, I will wait until the dyno day and get dougs help. I kind of want to know if it is something really serious as soon as possible. If I go today, that way I could go ahead and pay and schedule with you to get it fixed. I cant tell a diff in driving, so it probably wont be too serious, and you may have all I need in stock. Thanks man.

p0231 Fuel Pump Secondary circuit Low.
p0234 Not listed. Must be a weird one. anyone have the CD?
p1754 Coast Clutch Solenoid circuit malfunction( What ?)
Any thoughts?

I mentioned 234 was supercharger overboost - Normal for a modded truck. The BIG question is dod your trans light come back ???


P0234 - Supercharger Overboost Condition The PCM disables (bypasses) the supercharger boost and sets a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) to keep from damaging the powertrain (engine or transmission) during potential harmful operating conditions. Brake torque (brake on and throttle at wide open)
Transmission oil temperature (TOT) exceeds calibrated threshold
Engine over temperature
Ignition misfire exceeds calibrated threshold
Knock sensor (KS) failure or knock detected
Low speed fuel pump relay not switching
Check for other diagnostic trouble codes accompanying the P0234 or check appropriate and available PIDs related to above possible causes.
