Just got back from a 1600 mile jaunt across southwest and west Texas. :cool:
The L preformed flawlessly and she was abused hard. This included some off-roading :eek2: , creek crossing:nono: and some flatout runs with no cars in site for a hundred miles:tu:
The whole time hauling about 500 lbs of gear and averaging about 14MPG.
Some great roads if you're every down that way:
1. 385 south from Fort Stockton to Big Bend for flat out speed
2. 170 west from Lajitas to Presidio for negative/postive G's and lots of off camber twisties:tu:
3. 67 north from Presidio to Marfa for big sweeping S's
4. 118 north from Fort Davis to Kent for great boost climbs
