My focus is on raod racing drag racing is for those with a short attention span. I have pulled a Cobra R around TMS, run over 158 down the highway. I out braked anything not bolted down. I think my best quarter was 13.005 @110mph. She doesn't launch well but pulled great on the big end. Don't be my first victim after I get my motor in:tongue:

Yeah probably so, for some reason Brian thought I did not have any of any vintage. I cleaned out my truck before going to the dealer I may have tossed some slips. Just because he hides on the farm except for one track event a year.

.050 RT with a 12.68 on a 12.63 dial-in.

Lost to a white Gen I from Houston that had a;

.062 RT with a 14.66 on a 14.64 dial-in.

Winning margin was .0197 seconds. :cool: .

Based on that slip, think what you could run in a cooler month like Jan. rather than August:d

Now for the real post......I would be wondering about that except I ran 3 within a tenth second of that time.

I actually ran my first eleven the weekend of the Talon Classic...but that same shitty score board....shut off half way down the track....I was pizzed off to put it mildly.

If I remember right, they where screwed up at the Talon Classic 2 years ago also....I believe it registered speeds in excess of 130mph or some such sillyness.

The owner out there swears he is going to get a new set up. I'll believe it when I see it.

It just goes to show the difference between NHRA and some IHRA tracks...for that matter...ever tried to use the scale at Hallsville:rll: I think it is the same vintage as their score board system.

You have a deal my man....LOL. Believe it or not, wrong dates can happen at other tracks also. I have had a few at Ennis. They were never as screwed up as Hallsville. Usually just a day or two off.

Two week ends ago, the announcer said on the loud speaker that the two guys running that pass had a 450 dollar bet on the race. I would not be surprised to see the law arrest them one day for illegal gambling. Announcing it like that makes them a participant.

That place is starting to look like Yellow Belly(outlaw track). You have all these fellows showing up trying to scam folks into bets.

I can't wait for Ennis to open back up. Hallsville is one forked up track. I really like cleaning the sand out of my arse for a week after going out there. My need for filling the racing void in my life is tough to resist.:d
