How is it going all? Just to give you a short update for those who have not talked to me before. I bought my '01 with 16K and it now has right at 25K and is burning right at 2Qt per 3000 mile oil change. I have not run it extremeely hard beside killing a few little 4 bangers (fast and furious wanna beeees) :vomit: on the street, but that is another story. I am assuming previous owner run the crap out of it and rarely changed the oil. So when i bought it, i did get extra warranty. Dealer ship is saying that if i am actually burning that much and they are doing a consumption test at the moment, that they will have SVT send and engine or send an SVT mechanic down with new engine and swap for me. I was goign to hear if any of you guys have heard of them doing this or what. Appreciate any comments. Thank you.

i have never personally heard of this, but more power to you, im glad to see that the ford warranty is working for you man. its certainly possible though that not changing the oil could cause worn rings. i hate lazy people that wont change their oil

Did you buy this truck from a FORD Dealer or from someplace else?

I am just curious.
