Anyone go to Texas Motor Speedway today?
I went for qualifying, nothing but Beer, Babes, and Bad Ass cars!
(so I didn't make it Ennis)
It was alot of fun. Ran into a few guys with L's. Man, are these trucks great conversational pieces? They get more looks than anything outside exotic cars.
I saw some of the new SS Chevy trucks. There were four red ones lined up on the infield for laps this weekend.
Got up close on a blue and black one. They look pretty good (sorry guys I'm not too biased) I have owned both and love bad a$$ trucks. (my 97 reg cab 5.7l would eat stock Gen 1 L's) But for 45K they are waaaay over priced. Big 6.0L & AWD, but the Harley kicks its A$$! Too Bad or Thank God Chevy didn't make a reg cab 6.0L AWD, because with a SC thrown on, it would be pretty tough. Love to see some Lightning AWD conversion talk instead of after market superchargers. I know its been talked about, but man even though it would put put us at around 5K lbs, an AWD L would be the ultimate for all you road racer guys ie. Terry(bye,bye syclone):tu:
