2003 Harley Davidson

I swung by Westway Ford today to pick some EGR gaskets and figure while I'm there I'd check out the Harley's.....

39,xxx bucks and they don't do A or X plan...not that I have one anyway!

Do all Harleys have the center console in the back seats? Or do any of them have a full bench seat? I was considering one cause I thought they seat 5.

I dont think any of them seat 5 - David N and Autothrottle are both HD owners maybe they can chime in here..

I have seen them going for just below $32000 out here! I offered $32.5 for a two tone and was turned down but have heard of others being successful for that price on that truck. There was a $2000 rebate on 2003's and $2500 on 2002's

what is the performance of a Harley Davidson? stock vs slightly modded? they are really pretty nice..

It ain't no Lightning. Stock they run low 15's and with all bolt on's they run mid 13's.

Yeah, I've seen the 2-tone HD, they replaced the flare pinstripe with some tire tread looking sticker that says Harley all over it. Actually pretty cool. 31-32 isn't bad at all considering the sticker was 39K. These had a few options, like a power moon roof($800) and rear slider. Can anyone tell me where I can find info on this A or X plan? I've seen posted where a few people ask to "borrow" someone's...is that possible?

Believe it or not Terry, I ran against a HD(not sure what year)out at Ennis 3 weeks ago. He surprised me and ran a high 12 to my 12.45. I believe he did a 12.75.
That guy was right at my rear wheel the whole way...:hammer:

YES all the Harleys have the center console in the back seat..I got my 02 for 31.5 on x-plan and my 03 two-tone for 29.5k with the 2k rebate...i traded my 02 L for my 02 HD last year i needed the 4 doors and back seat for my kiddo..with terry's help and few dollars i can keep up with the L's.....

I try to go as much as possible. Friday nights they have test and tune driving, from 7-12. You should come out. I'll be there this coming Friday. I'm sure some of the other guys will be there also.

Yeah I know that dark shadow HD and he was doing that on NOS and blew his motor last year street racing. He just got it back together a while ago. Did I forget to mention HD's have smaller brakes, weaker springs/shocks, no rear sway bar, weigh approx 500 lbs more and have smaller brakes:hammer:

I have the King Ranch version of the Super Crew that also has dual consoles and 4 captians chairs and love the setup. Two consoles=two subs! Trying to talk the wife into a 2002 HD to rplace the L. NO LUCK!
