And after 450 miles on the new motor, I am getting a whopping 8.3mpg.:tu: I ain't crying yet, fresh motor and tranny still. Will see what she does on the way to RUSLOW's this weekend.


Oh, she is pulling good vacuum with the cams. Rigged up my boost gauge yesterday evening. Looks like 13 in. in Park/Nuetral and 9 in. at idle in drive.

What are you guys getting on vacuum? Just curious.

your actually talking about exhaust back pressure right? or are you talking about standard back pressure your boost guage woudl show if hooked up to the boost line?

at idle my AutoMetershows 18-20 below the 0 mark....driving normal with no boost she runs around -12-14
Under heaviest boost she shows about +13 with no juice...never looked with juice flowing (too busy watching where I am heading to look at gauge other than pressure):cool:
