Hey, has anyone purchased the Sylvania HID conversion? And, if so how do you like it? I am thinking about buying it but it is rather pricey at $500.00!! So any feedback will help me out. Thanks, Josh

If it's only $500 it's come down a bit in the 16 months I've owned my truck. I inquired about them when it was new.
I've seen some pics of the light pattern and while it does look 'better', what are you going to do about the foglights? Halogen and xenon look wack together, yo.

Yeah, I am not sure what to do about the foglights as well. You are definately right that it wouldnt look good at all. So any feedback from anyone with ideas would help us out!

The Silverstars are great. Have em on the Foci... Mucho whiter than anything else out there, without the hassle of converting to hid...

Will the Silverstars go in the fog lights of the Lightning? And about how much are they?

The fogs in my 01 were a 35 or 40 watt bulb the 9005 is a healamp low beam 55W. It should melt the case pretty well. I had to go to Ford the buy a replacement fog lamp bulb when I broke one.

wont melt but if you run it in the rain or get it wet when its hot it will crack the lens and then fill with water... so you just have to be careful... but these are the direct replacements... I just got my truck back last week with the new 2003 foglamps and havent changed the bulbs yet.. probably will wait until I have a job before I spend the money...
