should I get the deep-sump pan?

I mean is it really worth the $70 to get it to my door. I thought I would replace that while I do the valve body, but I really dont know if it will really make a diference. Yeah, the cooling will be better, blah,blah. Is it really very important. I am in one of those stupid spending crazes for my truck again. Doh! Anyone think one way or the other?

The main reason I use them is for ease of maintanence. The deep pan has a drain plug where stock does not. If you want I have the pan and filter for $65:D
