I bought a set of ET streets 26x10x16. They seem to be a bit too short. Can a shorter set up slow your et's?:confused:

You will have to see at the track. If you are mildly modded and have good traction bars then they will work great. if you lack traction devices and have heavy mods and or NOS they can spin and slow you down.

I think the 26x10x16 "Streets" are a little too short for the 3:73 gears. They work well with the 3:55 gears found on the 99/00 models. I am running 3:73 gears and use the 26x11.5x16 "Streets" and they work fine. :cool:

Mods;
4# lower
Diablo chip
K&N cold air
Accufab single blade
Factory tech Vb w/ deep pan
Gibson shorts
Bassani cat back.

My best over all et is 8.38 w/ 1.9xx 60ft and that was on F1's. Best et w/ slicks is 8.47. Any thoughts?

Your mods are similar to mine. I ran an 8.4 1/8th at Denton on street tires and an 8.0 same day/same conditions on slicks. You should have shaved at least 2/10ths off using the ET Streets if that was same-day/track. Something is wrong, but I don't want to speculate. :cool:

Same track but not same day. The day I ran 8.3 was colder than the 8.4 run. It may have been as much as 25-30 degrees colder. I'm still learning the quirks of these trucks so I may be concerned over nothing. Of course 100% of the problem could be the driver and just a lack of launching experiance.
