Ouch, You are getting an expensive education on this truck:hammer: May want to check your setup a little better next time. That is totally preventable damage. Haven't you melted/broken plugs time after time:confused: Why were you making your own fuel with Toulene?

Do I have another choice in fuels? I'm in the sticks. I'm sending my chip to JDM for a safe program on one side , its the only thing I can think of. I will get sick of it one day!:vomit: By the way Terry why are you not at Houston?

I have never been big on the FFW circuit. My customers that do drag race are going to Ennis. I don't want to show up and compete for business against my suppliers. I don't warehouse or mail order bulk parts. I work by referral and appointment for a chosen customer base. Low volume high quality instead of the other way around:tu: If I was having your problems I would get a dyno tune or log some drive time on a scan tool, install an EGT meter. It needs to run on pump gas not home blended fuels. Paying for all that work parts etc then running it WOT down the highway until it burns up:hammer: Check this next tune and your setup a little tighter. You may have some underlying condition casuing these problems. Like fuel delivery, MAF readings, air leaks etc. Those things can be making a normally safe tune or any tune burn up a motor.

Oh, I was driving back from Alabama in my next project. I had some cusotmers to take care of up here. And had a few minutes to stare and my truck and crate motor wishing them together:crying:

Picked up my head today. 130 bucks to change the seat, pressure tested , bleed the valves, change the valve, and cleaned it up for me. Not bad. I'm not in a rush to get them on ,my chip is at JDM's being made safe!! I'm going to hang this burned valve from my rearview mirror as a warning!:nana2 :nana2
