that was great! looked and sounded like he was using something bigger than .223. Probablly .308. There arent alot of .223 bolt actions out there. from the bang to "vaporization" I would guess he wasnt too far away.

Do they all explode like that when you hit them? Looks like they left M80s out there to blast them little sumbiatches!

Hollow-pointed, hypervelocity rounds will do wonders on a small unsuspecting rodent. I poped a squirrel with my .30-06 a few weeks ago and all I found was his skin:throw:

They are using 22-250's. I shot a few with my 308 and it is such a large caliber it doesn't have time to expand. So it just drilled a hole through them and they took longer to die. Hollow point rounds are more previlent in pistols. High powered rifles have such velocity they cause an explosion inside tissues. We only shoot match boat tail rounds and they vaproize varmints on impact.

Speaking of exploding rodents:

You have to right-click and save-as to watch it.
Yep! You gotta' respect high-pwr rifles. This white-tail (my first)was taken back in 96 by yours truly. I was shooting a 30-06, 150 grain Sierra boat-tails (reloaded round) at ~109 yards. The impact of the round spun him around at least once that I know of.

My goal next is to take one with my .44 Mag Desert Eagle.
