TALON Shirts Hats etc etc

This is a post to guage interest in embroidered -
Talon logo Polo Shirts and T shirts and Hats.

I think I can get them done at a reasonable price.

The quality of the shirts will be a BIG factor in whether I jump into this or not. There will be NO paper thin Tshirts or Golf shirts. If I don't think they will look good and last a couple years I wont waste my time. 100% cotton T's and Decent quality Polos with Decent collars.

What I need to know is how many people would be interested at $15 for a t-shirt and $30 for a polo shirt. The final prices Will depend on the art costs and the quantities.

The ideas is for a small logo over where the pocket would be, and likely TALONCLUB.COM on the sleeve

I'd suggest the same TALON logo we have now for the lapelle and maybe some embroidery on the sleeve of the polo. That always sets a polo off from all the rest.

I'd be in for a polo/t-shirt or 2, etc.

Maybe we can one-off a pink/periwinkle accent boy-pantie, too. I hear there is a certain L "enthusiast" who, with enough liquid-encouragement, enjoys posing on the hood of his black Lightning.

I can ask my mom what type T-Shirts they used when they made the Rockwall Cheerleader shirts (my sis was a cheerleader) cuz we still have some and i still see girls wearing them, and they are still awesome shirts and i'll also see what company she used for the logo and everything if needed.

We will likely decide on one color for the Tshirt and one for the Polo - With sizes and everything I cant get too many colors involved. Navy and Grey are good choices BUT will depnd on how the logo looks on navy, and depend on the shirts they have to pick from ...

Ok I stopped by the place today

Got catalogs - Need to pick Polo Shirt designs. My inclination is to pick a simple single color design with no checker board collars or anything and have the TALON logo with Texas Area Lightning Owners North over the left chest and TALONclub.com on the sleeve.

Then have T shirts and Hats done the same way

White is an easy color to pick, WIth a washed denim type hat and a white Tshirt. Navy would be a decent option BUT The logo would bot be visible in Navy Background

Maybe a Long Sleeve denim shirt as well

What do you guys think ??

I have a official NASCAR washed denium Long sleeve and #24's logo looked good.
White T's and polo's sounds good as well.
They will go with mine and Sixpipes lime green leisure suits .. :rolleyes:

The hotel wasnt all it was cracked up to be. It was a 4 star hotel but it was a "historic" hotel. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen... ever... anywhere. There was no fridge. The bed was crappy.

It was about a 2-3 minute walk to the riverwalk which was pretty good though.

It seems like a pretty nice city. Smaller and less crowded than Dallas for sure.

They wont have the Sleeve embroidery on them but they will have the logo. You will be able to touch them, check out the shirt quality and see how the sizes run. Since I figured I might get stuck eating them I had them both done in XL. If someone wants to buy these Thurs - Ill figure out how much they cost.

If you don't like the shirt, don't get one. It costs a LOT of money to get all the logos and stuff like that set up on those shirts. I don't see any of the people complaining about it putting their money in to help get it all set up.

On the other hand...If Doug wanted to paint a Lightning true blue with a khaki hood and white tail gate, now that'd be something to get kinda concerned about. Of course we'd have to have a black and white checked racing stripe down the center of that khaki hood too. May have to contact SVT about this. If I get my say so in it too, of course, I'll want a bright purple SVT logo painted on the back window.

A shirt is a shirt. I think they'll be fine.

I simply ordered one of the Outer banks shirts and one of the Cutter Buck shirts to be able to touch them and judge the sizes.
It also tested the quality of the embriodery.

We will end up with a Black a Navy and white Polo

And likely the same options Plus grey in T shirts..

Ill be sure to find Rainbow collars for the 3 homophobes in the group
