Need an idea of who is going to Hallsville meet in Oct.

HALO and TALON just got it scheduled. It will be in Hallsville near Longview, TX. Wanted to know if any of you guys were interested. We will talk about the final details when we get closer to it.

So far it will be $25 entry fee. There will be trophies for 1st and 2nd place of brackets. (most likely 3rd and 4th place too)
Will have a trophy for the best Reaction Time.
Will also have a trophy for the L with the quickest e.t.
Will have a trophy for the best looking Lightning also. (vote by all)

Of course it will be on a Saturday afternoon and the track will open about 5 p.m. Then we will run T&T from about 6 til 9 p.m. and then we will run our brackets til we finish. (about midnight)

I hope all of you in the neighboring area can schedule this on your calender. This will be a very fun event. We are expecting 40 Lightnings to show right now. Would like to see more.

If we end up having a rainout it will be the following Saturday.

Why 4 trophies for bracket racing and only one for quickest ET? Should be top 3 in both categories at least.

Well, there are going to be so me L's projected to show that we may end up have the top 2 or 3 on quickest e.t. I want to at least have trophies for 20% of how many shows. 20% of 40 = 8 trophies


If anyone has any other ideas on trophies, post them in the Events forum under the Hallsville thread.

They are more then welcome to come. The Lightnings are going to run their own program though cause there will be so many. You guys would just blow us off the track. HEHE
But you guys can run your own program that evening too. Just start getting a head count of how many you think will want to come and let me know. I will notify the track and double check to see if it will be alright (I am sure they won't mind) and you guys can run. It would be awesome to see a mess of Cobra's showing up too.

I passed the info on to the guy that heads up a lot of the events for the local Dallas/Fort Worth Cobras. He loves this stuff, plus he just installed a new Kennie Bell and he's ready to roll!
