All I can say is ...:hammer: !
I don't why, but it just irritates me.
I understand the 9005/9007 models of the Sylvania Silver Stars are pretty good. I'm looking at the watt/volt ratings on them to make sure it's all good.
I understand some L have melted wiring harnesses and yellowed their HL lenses from the add'l heat. I don't think I've heard of that from the Sylvania SSs.
Anyone have any experience w/them?
TIA,
Ronald

I've run SilverStars in a couple vehicles now, including the 02 Focus and love them... Highly recommended...Never had any problems with them generating too much heat or melting anything.
The light level isn't HID, but is as high as it'll ever be with halogen. They're very noticeably brighter and whiter than stockers...

Thanks for the feedback! :d
I've been scoping the road-ahead and that driver-side light is going to be a chore to get to w/that radiator overflow reservoir in the way!

Dana,
Do you live here in Plano, too?
I've been meaning to take a look at your Okole's. I'm thinking about putting in an order for a black/grey/red set.
Thanks,
Ronald

It ALMOST took an act of Congress to get that pass.'s side light in ... d@mn, that biatch is BRIGHT compared to the driver's side !
The driver's side attack is going to take some figuring! :hammer::d
We're off to Olive Garden or somewhere ...it's going to be a LONG night.
"Scalpel..... sponge...." :banana::roll

Well, I have the headlights in, but I can't find a pair of the 9005s for the fogs. I'm running with the fog-light assy. out of the truck to keep any moisture in there when I do get the bulbs.
So far I've managed a coupla' scraped knuckles, notch on my head from the hood :crying:, but I have a set of bright-whites and a beer-buzz to show for it! :d
Dana,
Thanks, but I didn't want to run around another week w/ "Old Yeller'" ! :d
I do want to check out your Okole's though. Those are growing on me!
Thanks,
Ronald

Ronald, I've always picked my silverstars up at Autozone in Grapevine. They always have had a full selection on the shelves...

Logan,
Those Autozone's in Grapevine must be hogging them all !
The only one's I can find in Plano are stapled back shut after a "return" ... "No thanks!"
