Need some help!

I have a 2000 lightning with factory exhast and I just bought cold air and 4lbs pulley with colder plugs. (no chip) How much would it help to have a chip with the pulley? Does it hurt anything not having a chip? I was thinking of putting an electric fan does anyone have any suggestions. I really wasn't wanting to spend 300.00 on electric fans.

300 is cheap for an Efan. A chip will light a fire under the truck probably add 40hp, improve shifting, rev limit, many things. A 2000 is probably rich enough stock to run a 4# but I would still check it on a dyno sometime.
