Dash lighting not working

Well, the illumination on the dash guages has quit working. Yes, I checked the fuses and the dimmer. The dim still works for the radio and HVAC controls.

Searches on F150 and NLOC revealed that many others had this and that the dealer swaps out the entire dash unit. I have also seen prices for this from $300 - $600 for the dash unit

I no longer have a warranty, anybody know of a local shop that can actually repair the dash unit?

There is a place in Dallas called Car Craft or AER they repair all OEM electronics.
