Back in the 400/500 club.
This time it was with temp of 85 degrees and the truck was relatively warm. Did 4 or 5 pulls over 2 hours and they ALL were right around 400/500.

I wish you would have brought my CD of files back with you. It has been two months and this thousand dollar burner has been about useless:flaming: Any note worthy improvements?:tu:

JDM was dying to add something to the truck but there is nothing left other than a bigger pulley that would add power. If we had more time a bigger intercooler radiator might have been an option but the results for a non racer would have been minor

I thought your truck was stock O, yeah the octane booster. I forgot I remember when I first seen him run at Hallsville. I wondered how in the hell is he running mid 12s! And I'm in the 13s. I could not see the power from looking at the truck. I suppose some trucks have more factory power on the bottom end then others. Maybe its the 99s toughness. We may never know! :burnout:

Doug,
I never knew you fell from grace. However, welcome back. It would be nice if I could join you in the 400/500 club on Saturday. We shall see!

Im not sure if I dynoed less than 400/500 or not since the forst time BUT I do remember the 400/500 was a cool day and the other pulls were off by like 10 HP as the truck warmed up.

You have done everything? Even port and polish the upper plenum?
Or even swap to a electric water pump? Those 2 mods alone would be good for a solid 1/10 or better. How about a Kenne Bell or even nitrous?

Polishing the plenum isnt worth it in my mind. Clearly I could put nitrous or a KB on but since this is my daily driver that has 61,000 miles on the stock block - I wont be doing either of those. Ask Don C what he thinks of the Electric Water pump on his daily driver.
I guess what I meant was there was little left that would have a significant bang for the buck impact on a daily driver

Well, since you put it that way, you are sooooo right. I know from experience. The only thing else I can come up with for a bang for the buck is a race program for side 2 that would be good for a tenth or better. But that even cost you $$$ everytime at the track cause of buying race fuel. :hammer:
I guess it is now time to sell it and get a Focus or Cobra :bows

I know where I can get a 10 second Convertible Cobra for a good price BUT You and BOTH would have issues fitting in the Cobra with the top up...
Illl be keeping mine for a while ...
Since Silver is back for 2004 I might have to go look at them....
