Well, it has come to my attention that my current avatar doesn't quite meet TALON "standards".:bs:hammer::D

Something about my "Michelin-Man" coat and snow !?! :confused: Trying to "balance out" the TALON hot summers down here...

In my defense, I would like to state that Suzy was only like a week old AND it was taken at Hopkins Int'l Airport outside of Cleveland, OH (in the background in the DEAD of winter) with the Cleveland Expo/Int'l Car Show going on where Elaine and I saw the next Gen L... in person and have tons of .jpgs ! :tu:

Sum' b#tch is MEAN looking in person! I tried to get engine .jpgs but the elec. hood release was busted since LA/NY shows.

I digress...

Get something that is more Texas like or more L like or at least stand next to your L or .....

Get the girls from BD's or Pom Pom's or Hooters to stand all around your L and take a pic.. Hell, put Andrew out there even!!!:evil

It seems some one else p#ssed off the Pope and has an avatar that looks like they have a camper shell on the back of their black '02 L.:roll

I'm sure Terry will install a wing on top of that topper if asked ...:D

not a bad idea... but they were right about the camper shell look.. and you still need to change yours too:evil

Throw on some mudflaps and I'm sure YOU'LL like it! :D

Trust me! If your a L-nut like I am, read the 500/500 stats and see it in person...you'll be a believer!

It's much taller/wider than our trucks ... and sat lower.... seemed to me.

"lame avatar" ?!? You'd better take a GOOD LOOK at my avatar b/c that's what your next winter is going to be looking like VERY FAST ! :eek::D

Enjoy all the a$$-deep lake-effect snow, salt everywhere and Northern "attitude"! Been there, done that!

we are actually looking forward to having a winter and snow.. there are two ski resorts within 90 minutes of Erie, plus snowmobiling and other winter sports that we cant enjoy in Dallas unless we fly somewhere.
The streets get cleaned of snow there very early in the morn and yes there is salt on occasion but I have bought a winter car so that I can keep the L in the garage and let her rest, plus it keeps the miles off of her.
We havent seen any attitude in the multiple visits to Erie at least. The folks there have been very, very nice to us, where ever we have gone. I think its probably because its more of a smaller community rather than a large one. They have a nice mall, some great grocery stores, etc, etc. Plus I will be probably the only L in town.. and you were concerned about not having an exclusive truck, well I will be very exclusive.
We are really looking forward to the change. I think yesterday they had a high of 79.. After we have had some incredibly hot spring and summers here in the last 5 yrs of living here and then another 35 in Houston for me.. I think a change of climate will be welcomed for a least a while.
The biggest downside to us is leaving the friends we have made here. That part saddens us greatly, But we hope to make some new ones there.
