I sold my 02 L and still have the Superchip. It was programed by JDM and makes real good HP. I ran the truck at Kennadale on june 5 and the L ran 8.268 at 84.16 mph with a 1.909 60ft on F1's. I don't know how hot it was but it was a little warm upper 80's. My mods were Air Intake 4 lbs pulley and line mod and that was it plus chip. Its a 400 plus hp and a 500 plus torque chip with mods above. First 125 can have it.

ps still have a set of 3.73 gears if someone wants them 100 bucks

I sold my L because I want to buy a 05 mustang really bad plus my 02 had 25000 miles on it and my friend called me from the ford house and made me a deal on a 03 GT that got me out from under my L so im going to play with this 4.6 slow piece and see if I cant make it run in the 12's and trade it in on a 05 in 2 years. I really miss my Lightning but my payments are 200 dollars cheaper and my gas bill went down about a 100 bucks a month because I work 27 miles one way from my house.

Well I am sorry to see you go.. I love my L and would find parting with it very hard, as you have. But you make a logical case for the change.. good luck with the Stang..
