during all my travel with my prior employer, there were a few times that I had to stay in a hotel room for weeks and months. I would fly in on Monday and leave on Friday.. I really hated it, and it didnt endear the city to me very much either. It was the people I worked with that made it worthwhile. I spent a few months in Salt Lake City and Denver. They arent just kidding in either place about the snow. I had the wonderful opportunity of staying in Denver once during a blizzard and having the hotel lose its power. So no hot water, no elec, no tv, etc.. taking a bath that day was a real adventure.
I have been through that kind of stuff, and I have to say, staying in a Radisson for an extended time just outright sucks. I know it.. however, we should have a home and a garage to park our cars in and we will probably enjoy ourselves for at least the first several years as we havent had to live in snow before. The change will do us good (hmm sounds like a song lyric).
But thanks for the pics... after the last couple of days of this heat, I will welcome the change..
