Two Z06's in one day sound almost as good as two women in one bed:banana: It was a long hard day into the night but we got them both fired off. There is still some tuning and close up work to be done but they make such sweet music. After you hear them you will find out which one is mild/wild. I know I am twisted in that a CNC'd high compression head, fast ramp rate high lift cam lobe, 4 piston brake calipers and forged wheels make me giddy. But I can't help it I must spread intimidation and regulation powers to all PR customers:beer:
Here are sound clips from our latest creations:tu:
Until I learn to link a MPG they are in my gallery (http://www.talonclub.com/4images/categories.php?cat_id=43&page=8) under Silver and Yellow MPG's.

I just got back from dyno tuning the silver Z06. It landed right where I expected. 430 rwhp 390 tq:beer:. All of the customers requests were met, mild cam with a steady idle, no lurching in parking lots, driveable for everyday use. It may even crank out 440 rwhp in cold weather. The dyno was 103 degrees and the LS6 C5 computer goes into 'low octane' tables over 96deg ambient. So it was pulling 4deg of timing at 103 ambient air. Plus it was on 21st Century's dyno which is an above ground and know to read a bit low:twitch: The cam was still making peak power when we stopped the pull at 6800 rpm:eek2:. I'll get a graph up when possible. Oh yeah the motor has less than 3K miles so it is still breaking in (-5hp), and this was through converters (-5hp) which was another request of the owner that it had cats:hammer:

thats why I went with the quiet big mouth exhaust of Terry's... a little more stealthy, and a lot more livable on a daily basis...
but I do see the attractiveness of the yellow one, but been there and done that on my old Stang...

We did a little dyno tuning on the Yellow Z last week. We netted 713rwhp and 841tq:eek2: . We also got a rare personal invite to the GM High Tech performance shoot out at Ennis in November. We are one of a FEW C5's invited to run. You must be NHRA legal and run a 10.99 or better:tu:
