Since SpeedWorks is screwing everyone and no one was really happy with the dyno at Keith Craft, where is the dyno of choice? My chip will be back soon and I need to check the A/F. Thoughts?

If you guys didn't know already LoneStar Proformance is moving to Garland. They will be having a grand opening Sept. 6 and will be doing discounted dyno pulls for all. I just got mine off the dyno 8/18/03 and picked up another 55 hp in the heat w/ the new set-up:D. I never heard of any problems with their dyno. I was there one day when they did 19 Cobras & 2 Lightnings and everything went smooth all day except for one Cobra spilling it's guts all over the floor. Let me if you guys want me to set something up. I'm sure if we got at least 10+ trucks we could get $35-$40 pulls all day.

Sept. 6 is out for me. We're heading up to OK City to get our new St. Bernard pup that weekend. I may end up going to the Kwik Car Lube place during the week, since it's right down the street from work.

Just give me a date and how many trucks we think are going to show. It will have to be after the 6th b/c he'll have alot going on. They were just droping the dyno in this weekend at the new shop.

..And yes I would say it is pretty accurate b/c, when he dynos my truck it's within 3-5hp between pulls. They also can tune the $hit out of any Ford.

I was pretty happy with the folks over at Kwik Kar. Doug (I think that's his name) was way cool and said he would definately like too see more of the Ls in his shop. He seems to work mostly on GM F-bodies, but he liked the blower noise on my L and an HD that were there. I would at least give him a call.:tu:

I got something in the mail yesterday from Lone Star Performance. They are moving to Garland and have a grand opening on the 6th.

The flyer said dyno specials that day and from what I've heard their dyno is good.

I have heard no issues with them yet. Of course, we didn't hear anything about Keith Craft either before we went there! :hammer: In any case, they are eager to pick up business and are actually running a deal this month for $25 instead of their normal $30. :tu:

In any case, I'll be there with the Jeep to watch tomorrow. Chip didn't make it, so there's no point in dynoing. :crying:

$25 for three pulls.. did mine back to back with virtually no rest between pulls.. the numbers were very close to Keith Craft.. it is a bit hotter though...

a/f ratios ran in the low 13's..

This makes me feel pretty comfortable about where my truck is right now esp since it is so hot here now.. when I get to PA and the high temp is in the 70's, I will try to find out about any dyno's up there... lower temps should be good for some more power..
